hmmmm about a year ago an old friend of mine made a post about how it made her feel gross whenever i or a friend said things like “sex is gross” “i can’t believe it’s actually a real thing” etc etc and even though we don’t talk anymore i still just wanna say . most of the reason we say this is because it makes us feel gross and in such a hyper-sexualized culture you don’t have to deal with that kind of stuff constantly surrounding you. there is very little safe space for us, and very much safe space for you, and it’s absolutely ridiculous for you to put those same limits on a safe space we’d made for us
this was also a person who made posts like “it’s so terrible knowing you’re ace because you’ll never feel the same way i do towards me” though so lmao
